About the Role:
The Factory Supervisor will report directly to the Plant Manager and oversee daily production activities, ensuring efficient workflow, effective team management, and adherence to strict safety and quality standards. This role requires a hands-on professional with strong leadership skills and a solid understanding of food production processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily production operations to meet targets and maintain efficiency.
- Monitor the use of raw materials, inventory, and finished goods to minimize waste and prevent shortages.
- Enforce compliance with food safety, hygiene, and quality assurance standards.
- Collaborate with the Plant Manager to implement production strategies and process improvements.
- Lead, train, and motivate production staff to achieve performance excellence.
- Identify opportunities for operational optimization and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- HND/B.Sc. in Food Science, Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related discipline.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in factory or production supervision, ideally within the food or confectionery sector.
- Proven leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving, planning, and organizational abilities.
- Strong understanding of food safety, quality assurance, and manufacturing best practices.
